This essential 12 piece block set includes Guy Fieri's Knuckle Sandwich series Santoku and utility knives, 17-slot block, 8 beefy steak knives and a #1 rated Proteak cutting board. This amazing set also includes bonus ERGO Chef 9" Duo Tongs with purchase ($16.99 value). The utility knife has a serrated edge and fork prongs for picking up food. The utility knife is great for cutting fruits, tomatoes, bread, sandwiches and cheese. Hollow ground ovals in the blade promote less stick and smoother cuts. The knives' full tang and abbreviated bolster adds strength and balance. The blades are made from German carbon stainless steel (X50 CRMOV15). The overall knife dimensions for the utility knife and Santoku knife are 9.5" L. The overall dimensions for the steak knives are 8.5" L. The handles are made from ABS plastic (acrylonitrile, butadiene, styrene). The blade dimensions for the utility and Santoku knives are 5.5" L. The blade dimensions for the steak knives are 4.5" L. The handle dimensions for all of the knives are 4" L. These knives must be hand washed and dried with a towel. This teak wood cutting board features a corner hole and juice groove. The dimensions for this cutting board are 12" L x 10" W x 0.75" H and it weighs 2.3 pounds. Hand wash this Proteak board and apply mineral oil twice a year. The finish is wood grain glossy.
