This is a beautiful set of well balanced, high quality chef's knives designed by Guy Fieri himself. They are ergonomically created to be an extension of your hand for natural comfort. A chef's knife, Santoku knife, utility knife and paring knife are included in this set, along with a Proteak cutting board and bonus ERGO Chef 9 Pocket Professional Soft Knife Roll Bag. The knives' full tang and abbreviated bolster adds strength and balance. The blade material is German carbon stainless Steel (X50 CRMOV15). The total chef knife dimensions are 12". The total dimensions for the Santoku and utitlity knives are 9" L. The total dimensions for the paring knife are 8" L. The total dimensions for the steak knife are 4" L. The handles are made from ABS Plastic. The blade dimensions for the chef knife are 8" L. The blade dimensions for the Santoku and utility knives are 5.5" L. The blade dimensions for the paring knife are 4" L. The handle dimensions for all knives are 4 " L. These knives must be hand washed and dried with a towel. This Proteak cutting board is handmade to meet the needs of professional chefs and serious home cooks. Cooks Illustrated tested 9 cutting boards for 3 months and Proteak finished #1 in a head to head contest. The thick and durable end grain construction is gentle on knife blades, while giving the board a self-healing property that results in few (if any) knife marks over time. Designed with a handy cut-out to make transferring your ingredients into the salad bowl a breeze, the beauty and utility of Proteak's end grain cutting board will make this a fixture on your kitchen island for years to come. This cutting board is made entirely from environmentally-managed plantations. The dimensions of this board are 20" L x 14" W x 2.5" H and it weighs 14 pounds. This cutting board features a hand grip and bowl cut-out. Hand wash and apply mineral oil twice a year to this cutting board. This teak wood board features a wood grain glossy finish.
